Kano state Billionaire and Philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who’s also an uncle to the Africa richest man, Aliko Dangote, Passes Away at 94.
This news was passed by Dantata Personal Private Secretary, Mustapha Abdullahi Junai shortly after his demise.
Aminu Dantata’s alleged Networth is $1B. His several businesses span across various sectors which include, oil and gas, banking, and real estate investment. He is also the founder of Express petroleum and Gas company Ltd and one of the benefactors of Jaiz Bank in Nigeria.

Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani wrote on x (Twitter) about the deceased philanthropist :
“The news of the passing away of Alhaji Aminu Dantata is a great loss to the country. He was a man of upright values and boundless compassion who touched the lives of millions of people spanning generations.
Not everyone is so blessed with a combination of purposeful longevity, generous spirit and wealth of honour.He was an accomplished man who lived an exemplary life. May his soul rest in Aljanna firdausi,Amin”.
Muhammad Babandede wrote on his official X handle as well :
“I can’t forget the last time GMD of ARCO Group Plc and my humble self paid a courtesy call on the late Alhaji Aminu Dantata! A philosopher, a teacher, a business tycoon at a global level, but humble and always accommodating with face, heart, and wealth. May Allah grant him Jannah.”
