Prof. A.U. Nnoyelu has emerged as the New Acting Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University with a total of 132 votes, defeating other contenders.
He is a Professor of Sociology and Anthropology, Faculty of Social Sciences.
You’d recall that Prof. Ikechebelu stepped down for another acting Vice Chancellor to assume office.
The newly elected Acting Vice-Chancellor is to oversee the successful election of a possible substantive vice chancellor within the shortest time possible.
