Face Of Lovebite Food: 90 Make Final Shortlist Ahead of January 15 Run-Off, N80 Million Worth Of Prizes Up For Grabs

The final shortlist has emerged in the three categories of the Face of Lovebite Food competition after a night of intensive and rigorous auditioning which held at Nnobi, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

In the family category, 10 out of 40 families that entered the competition made it to the run-off which is scheduled to hold on January 15, 2025, where a winner will emerge and go home with the sum of two million naira.

Also, 40 persons each were selected in the male and female categories making it 80 persons out of over 500 that entered the competition who will now contest for the big prize on the same day.

Three winners will then emerge from each of the male and female categories to go home with one million naira each with an option to be renewed after one year.

Other finalists will also receive consolation prizes.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Lovebite Groups, Chief Okwy Nwosu said that for three years, the brand has used youths and families as ambassadors of Lovebite as a way to appreciate them for their patronage, revealing that winners apart will also receive entrepreneurship mentorship.

The Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Youth Entrepreneurship Programmes, Dr Nelson Omenugha thanked the company for putting Anambra State in a positive light through its quality products and assured that the state government will continue to provide an enabling business environment in the state.

For the Mayor of Idemili South Council Area, Mrs. Amaka Obi, and the President General of Nnobi, Barr. Dominic Okpala, the company’s approach to community social responsibility has placed Nnobi and the council area on the world map.

Some of the finalists, Messrs Gabriel Ogonna and Uchechuwu Okeke said they are happy to possibly become the faces of Nigeria’s leading bread manufacturing company.

The event also featured different entertaining music performances.
