Governor Alia’s Wheelbarrow empowerment & Tinubu’s borrowing spree

The government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is on a superficial borrowing spree without recourse to the possible future implications.

The lawmakers seem to be approving every single loan request without due diligence so to say.

@firstladyship has used the Benue State  wheel barrow empowerment scheme to draw analysis of the recklessness of this admission.

These photos were taken in Makurdi Benue State, on July 27, 2025. Benue is an APC state. The Governor is close to Asiwaju. In fact, he is one of those governors campaigning for him.

Governor Hyacinth Alia distributed these branded “Alia Cares” wheelbarrows to over 150 women as part of “Women Empowerment.” He said the “2025 Model Wheelbarrows” will aid the women of Benue with their agricultural mobility (amid the local security challenges).

Now let’s crunch some numbers. These are loans (either already taken or approved) by the Rubber & Stamp Senate, for Bola Tinubu:

$750M for Power.
$800M for Safety Nets.
$700M for Girls’ Education.
$225M for Rural Agriculture
$500M for Women Empowerment.
$21.5 Billion from different sources.
N757.9 Billion Domestic Bond borrowing.

So I have a few questions that urgently need some answers. My questions are directed to Asiwaju, “the King of Borrowing.” Where is the $500 million for Women Empowerment?

Where is the $700 million for Girls’ Education?

By the time the ginarmous $21.5 Billion new set of loans arrive, Bola Ahmed Tinubu would have borrowed up to $29.2 Billion in just two years.

What did he do with all the loans? The monies saved from subsidies, where is it?  Nigerians are going to pay them back. I’m asking these critical questions because I need answers!

@officialABAT must answer these very important questions. They actually believe he is borrowing recklessly (to uplift Nigerians). The Children of Abject Poverty actually believe that this wicked government is working for them.

Governor Amuneke is laughing at them.

Bola Tinubu borrowed $700M from the World Bank (for Girls’ Education). But Peter Obi is the one going around the country helping schools with funding. So where is the $700 million?

Bola Tinubu is leaving behind a massive debt, hunger, poverty, insecurity & deprivation. Peter Obi will have plenty of mess to clean up. It’s going to take several years to clean up.

Peter Obi would not have removed ALL form of subsidies, & still be borrowing like a crook. BAT is borrowing as if Nigeria will end tomorrow. Where are the details of what these loans will be used for? This is national sabotage! The lenders are as guilty as the borrower himself.

This is Lagos state Template. They increase taxes, make the highest IGR, unleash poverty, & still leave the state as the most indebted.
