Looking deeper into Soludo’s Romance with Tinubu & spiteful statements against Peter Obi

Anambra state, the light of the nation, once again became the focal point of discussion after the presidential visit of Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the 8th of May, 2025 to the home state of self made “billionaires”.

Prio to this visit, many would ask, why would an APGA governor decide to invite an APC national leader in the person of Asiwaju, few months to a very important gubernatorial election fielding an APC candidate?

That’s a tactical political chess-play or football formation of 4-2-3-1 style.

Ordinarily, nothing would have gone wrong with this August visit and visitor in the month of May.

Quoting the estranged former PDP gubernatorial candidate in the last Anambra election, Valentine Ozigbo, who’s now perceived as a fugitive in his new found love, APC, “Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo is an APGA governor at noon and APC merchant at Night”. Double edged sword.

If you’re resident in Anambra, especially Awka, the state capital, you’d be marveled at the state of preparedness, arrangements, decorations, billboard placements that accompanied Tinubu’s visit… It was as though, Two Angel’s from heaven were coming down to Anambra on a Sabbatical note.

They even sewed “Ashebi”..

Our innocent children (students) were asked to stand by the road side, under the hot scorching sun, waiting for Jagaban to pass… They were instructed to wave and dance..

Aside the optics… Some people outside Anambra would say, “wow, Anambrarians now love Tinubu more than party jollof rice”….

Let’s cut “Charlie Nwa Mgbafor” some slacks, he did a beautiful job at the New government house and the Solution fun city project. Again, if you drive around the state, you’d notice the new face lift to the roads unlike the dilapidated state Willie Obiano left it.

Good Job….

Now, let’s get down to the brack tacks..

The straw that broke the camel’s back as expected was Soludo’s subtle jab at Peter Obi during his speech.

You’d easily notice the highly elated Asiwaju smiling conspicuously while he  was throwing those hyperbolic jabs…

So many have asked, “why is Soludo always hating on Peter Obi?

Peter Obi often calls him brother, could it be a Prodigal brother?

If you browse the internet on Soludo’s Debate alongside Andy Uba and Val Ozigbo, you’d hear him talking on how Peter Obi’s amazing investments have helped the economic growth of Anambra. He said so many good things about him.

What changed, many would ask…

Twerking for Asiwaju at the expense of Peter Obi wasn’t really necessary.

What did he even say that got people angry?

He said, “the last time a president visited Anambra was to commission a brewery and one private company like that”..

Like seriously?

Fact checking this statement proved he wasn’t correct (i don’t want to say a Professor was lying).

Meanwhile, Soludo was talking negatively about a capital investment. He praised a government house to be better than a capital investment, which brought employment.

Inland port, onitsha

“For those of you who do not understand what’s going on in Anambra state.

During his tenure, Peter Obi invited GEJ and commissioned a lot of private companies as well as government projects that are employing thousands of youths.

Now, Soludo invited Tinubu to commissioned government house and Solution fun city.

See Soludo doesn’t have a single private investment he has attracted in the state from scratch, despite travelling to Lagos and Abuja taking to the so called investors while the ones here are packing up.

In fact i know like two companies that tried every possible means to establish in Anambra but could not, due to Soludo’s incompetence.

On the other hands, majority of companies currently operating in Anambra state today were attracted by Peter Obi.

Some of them were assisted by Peter Obi through his financial network.

Innoson for instance got upfront payment in full which helped him to kickstart production, when nobody believed in him.

Sabmiler got counterpart funding from the state just to enable their take off.

But guess who they are maligning?

What does that tell you?

That’s the problem with Nigeria!….

Going through his speech, one

Again…

Did Soludo discuss about the Onitsha inland port? No.

Did Soludo discuss linking Onitsha, Nnewi and other parts of the state and region with a rail? No.

Did Soludo discuss the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu? No.

Did Soludo discuss the insecurity and over 200 roadblocks in Anambra State? No.

Did Soludo discuss the Anambra section of the less than 120km Enugu/Onitsha dual carriageway linking both state capitals that has t been completed in over 25 years? No.

Did Soludo discuss on investing and FG patronising made in Anambra @innosonvehicles? No.

So what did Soludo discuss with Bola Tinubu??? Peter Obi, Peter Obi, Peter Obi.

In summary, Asiwaju’s visit to Anambra was a way of Soludo telling Nicholas Ukachukwu and his APC’s group that he is even more APC than they’re….. Simple!!

“Dike Si mba”…
