The Nigerian political scene/atmosphere is tensed with palpable innuendos, uncertainties, and perceived apprehensive tendencies as the coalition of Nigerian career politicians adopt ADC as their common party.
Unlike what happened in 2015 where some parties decided to merge together to form the current nightmare of a party, the APC, this moment, politicians decided to adopt an existing party, ADC to try sacking the abysmal Bola Ahmed Tinubu who’s currently holidaying in St Lucia, ignoring all the troubles in Nigeria.
Let’s deal with the happenstances of today, regarding the ADC coalition.
The coalition adopted the former Military Governor, minister of communications, and Senate President, Sen. David Mark as the interim Chairman of the party, the ADC.
The entire ADC leadership at all levels has resigned, to provide a platform for the coalition as Sen David Mark takes over as Interim National Chairman of the ADC.

The former Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola was chosen as the interim national secretary, a position he has already accepted.
His acceptance speech read below :
“Dear Party Leaders, Distinguished Members, Friends, and Fellow Citizens
It is with deep humility, a profound sense of duty, and unwavering hope for our people,
nation, race and party and that I accept the appointment as The National Secretary of our great party.
I thank the leadership for the trust reposed in me. But more than that, I thank every committed member of this party and those who still believe that politics can be a force for good; people who believe that parties form government and must control it; those who believe in the…
supremacy of the party in a democracy and all products of democratic contests; those who recognise that parties must stand for and with the people in the promotion of their interests and aspirations; that parties therefore are not merely machines for winning elections but…
institutions for mobilising, organising, energising, educating, empowering and encouraging the people towards their emancipation and development.
Let me begin by saying this: a political party is not a platform for opportunism.
It is not a mere vehicle to power for the few, nor a tool for personal ambition. A political party, in its truest form, is a living institution built on values, guided by ideals and accountable to the people it seeks to serve.
Throughout Africa’s history and particularly in the legacy of the African National Congress (ANC) of South Africa, a 113-year behemoth of party organization that is impeccable in its credibility as a model of supremacy of party over its creation (government and popularly elected officials) have seen what a party grounded in ideology, principle, and people-centered struggle can achieve.

The ANC is not perfect, but it stands for something. It was forged in resistance, sharpened by vision, and led by men and women who believe in justice, dignity, equality, inclusivity of all interests and true freedom. It has character. It has soul. It is therefore a true platform for the expression of their aspirations.
May God bless our efforts.
Long live our party. Long live our democracy. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola”.

Let’s get down to the brass tacks..

When you zoom out, you’d see the members of the coalition. Remember i told you, they’re actually members from the embattled PDP, APC, and LP.
From Left to Right : you’d see Yusuf Datti-Babba Ahmed, Tambuwal, Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amechi, El-Rufai et al.
Two can play that game….
Peter Obi and the Obidients….

Peter Obi practically walked in to the coalition meeting room holding hands with Nasir El-Rufai.
Now, see the game, these politicians have one common enemy, APC and Jagaban.
This may not necessarily mean that most of them care about the current suffering Nigerians, but at least, removing this current calamity should top their priority.
Peter Obi garnered massive unprotected votes in the 2023 general elections, defeating Tinubu in his own Lagos.
Won In the entire South East, Delta, won in majority of the Army barracks, won the seat of power, FCT, Rivers state that was massively rigged, North central etc…
All these he did without a single sitting Governor, structure, financial support.
If Nigeria is a functional society, why would Peter Obi and his youthful followers known as the Obidients need any coalition to pull such stunts again?
Unfortunately, 2027 will be different, he would definitely need more of voting to win. He must fight….
This is if the coalition decides to give him the ticket…
That’s if their personal greed wouldn’t cloud their vision again..
That’s if Atiku would read the hand writing on the wall..
The Obidients have been saying, WITHOUT PETER OBI AT THE FRONT BUNNER….. forget the coalition..

Even the Obidient and Peter Obi hater, Laurreta Onochie was also present.
Emeka Ihedioha was present….. Oh, ordinarily, Val Ozigbo was supposed to be here but he took some pieces of advise from the devil…. Kenneth Okonkwo is still ranting….

Meanwhile, @TommyCFC wrote on X :
“Aside Peter Obi I just believe that the ADC and this current Tinubu APC are same people recycling themselves. Except God creates new set of people from heaven and throw them down I don’t believe in those set of politicians we have currently….”
The truth is, until Peter Obi talks, Obidients are all standing at Akimbo waiting…
There is absolute quietness from the Agbado camp as no news has been heard from St Lucia.
Until then, my name still remains, Echezonam Ibezim jk, reporting from his village hut.
No Obi No head way
Hmmm. OMG. You guys are gonna be friends
