#TheJubileeOfHope : Why Peter Obi served food in an Event

Peter Obi is undoubtedly the most discussed politician in Nigeria where everything he does dominates the internet space.

Yesterday, Peter was seen in an event in Imo state, where he participated in sharing of food to the guests.

Like a hawk, his haters took it up and started making a “corn  meal” out of it. Even some of the Obidients didn’t understand it, whilst some found it embarrassing.

Now, it’s my duty to give you the undiluted gist.

THE JUBILEE OF HOPE….

The event Peter Obi attended was called the “Jubilee of hope”… A day roles are reversed (the rich would serve the poor). Yes, the rich serves the poor..

What Peter Obi did by serving food at the event wasn’t about politics or seeking publicity.

He was participating in the Jubilee of Hope, a special day created to reverse roles — where the rich serve the poor.

It’s more than a kind gesture. It is a powerful reminder of equity, justice, and the kind of humanity we should all strive for.

This tradition encourages people in positions of privilege to step into humility and service, even if only for a day.

It speaks to the very heart of many faiths, especially the Catholic Church, which teaches that love is best shown through action.

A serving Senator, Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, was also there, serving food to others during the same event.

That alone tells you this moment wasn’t about politics. It was about people.

A serving Senator, Osita Izunaso also serving in same event…

Another  Obidient, @Firstladyship wrote :

“His media team were flat-footed yesterday.”

Let’s get something straight.

Some of you actually want the milk of human kindness to walk around with some camera crew (to stage-manage his life, & choreograph his daily activities for some strangers)?

Because he wants to be your president, he should become someone else? Are some of you sick in the head or what? Maybe you want the type of stage-managed appearances of your typical Nigerian politicians? GIVE IT A BREAK!

“Let Obi be Peter, not Saul.” Don’t change who you are, don’t even try to please some of the least important people on the planet.

For the record: he wasn’t the only leader that served meals at that event. Even if he was, what’s your point? Peter Obi is a devout Catholic & a Papal Knight, he belong in the top echelon of the church. Like others in that event, he decided to join in serving the flock (at the birthday of a priest well-attended by all).

I SEE NO PROBLEM IN THAT.

Almost all the people in that event voted for him. With or without serving them the meals, they will still vote for him. If he did that in the Core North, then it would raise eyebrows.

The man is humility personified. Those who have come in contact with him will testify. He can’t change who he is because of the type of wacko politics you have going on. God forbid!

And if you think that someone that went to Haiti to serve as aid worker (as far back as 2010, after the devastating earthquake) is up to eye-service for serving food to the people who ordinarily will vote for him, then you need your head examined. YOU NO WELL.

Again, I will like to believe that all the people arguing about Nigeria not having computers around 1996 are Gen Zs, perhaps from poor homes. But I’m not surprised; the Agbados are mostly the children of beggarly parents.

Tinubu is no newcomer to the game, he’s been around the corridors of power since 1992. He was around during the military era, & served in various capacities. He served in that rubber stamp senate put together by IBB (before Sani Abacha came & dissolved everything).

Give me a break, arguing over trivial when Bola is the one destroying your lives is something I won’t do. I will be the last person to engage any miscreant on this app. You go explain tire.

Meanwhile, Peter Obi is  very coordinated man who doesn’t do anything for clout..

He is the clout himself…

Let all his haters drink a cold kwunu…. They’d never catch Okwute Africa unfresh…

Now, that i have explained everything to you…

Won’t you tell me thank you…?
